Our design philosophy is pretty simple:
We make kick-ass, amazing spaces.
Let’s elaborate a little…We make kick-ass, amazing spaces that that are fun, unique, and creative. Our approach is intensively collaborative because the best designs emerge from a deep understanding of our clients' desires and needs. We fearlessly push boundaries and think outside the box*, resulting in spaces that are both visually inspiring, deeply meaningful, and supremely functional.
We prioritize environmentally sustainable design practices, including the use of eco-friendly materials, energy-efficient solutions, and responsible sourcing. Love quality vintage? We do too! Visually stunning spaces… that also contribute to a healthier planet.
We’re also kinda big fans of Austin. By championing local artisans and craftspeople to recognize their unique talents and perspectives, we can all foster our vibrant local creative community and ensure that our projects reflect the essence and character of a region that’s not like any other.
*but not TOO outside the box. Then we’d be landscape designers.
Who We Are:
Robin Ramirez - Operations // Cat Herder
Long suffering veteran of the Texas heat, Robin has lived in Austin long enough to remember when it was still sort of Weird. Although her career path took her in a different direction initially, at some point she realized that she’d been redecorating her house perpetually for most of her adult life and thought, Should I be getting paid for this? (Yes Robin, eventually.) When not “borrowing” samples from the office to plan her own renovations, she enjoys long walks on the beach, arguing about the best shade of pink, jigsaw puzzles of kittens, and helping me remember to pay bills.
S. Rohde Hill - Designer // Creative Guru
A native Austinite (and UT alum), Rohde's interior design career began in Los Angeles while still a design student at UCLA. There he worked alongside internationally renowned AD100 designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard on projects for Hollywood's A-list. Though he got to rub shoulders with some famous folks, he sadly never got invited to Elton John's Oscar party, which he's only still slightly bitter about.
After stops in the Midwest and the Arctic Circle (Ok, Boston, but it’s almost the Arctic), the siren song of Barton Springs and Taco Trucks finally pulled him home to unleash his brand of maverick design on the good folks of Austin. His hobbies include driving his two kids to band practice, taking super serious profile pictures, and somehow getting lost on hiking trails completely surrounded by city.
